Have you ever just need a minute to yourself? I have way too many times to count. We need that moment just to gather ourselves and put it back together. Whether it is a crazy day at work or with the kids, that mini moment of meditation is all we need. But what if we included that moment of meditation in our every day? Would we be better prepared to handle our crazy work days? Better to juggle our packed schedules?

Mathew 6:6

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is

unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Meditation is good for our souls and our bodies. The quiet reflection time that you are able to devote to yourself gives you time to reflect on all areas of your life. God knows what's in our hearts. He sees what we do when no one is looking. Meditation gives you the time needed to give your worries to God and let him take care of them. Allowing God to take your worries is a whole new level of trust in him. God created our bodies knowing we needed meditation for our health too. Science has proven that meditation helps lower stress, anxiety, and improve our physical health. Meditation lowers your breathing rate and heart rate, while improving circulation.

Mathew 6:34

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.

Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

So let us all listen to God and improve our mind, body, and soul through meditation.

Trust in the lord our God. I pray for each of you reading this to be steadfast in you faith.
